terms & conditions
1) To make a booking we will require written confirmation and a deposit of £900 (less for smaller parties). A further deposit of £600 is required 3 months before the date of the function. All deposits are not refundable in the event of a cancellation.
2) When confirming your booking, we will need to agree your arrival time.
3) The final account is to be paid in full at least 24 hours prior to the event. This must be by cleared funds i.e. credit/debit card or cash. Personal cheques unfortunately are not accepted.
4) Everyone has to have the same starter, main course and sweet. Vegetarians, children and special dietary requirements can be catered for by special arrangements.
5) Whilst every effort is made to be extremely careful, it is with regret that we cannot guarantee any of our dishes to be free of nut traces, and party organisers should advise their guests accordingly.
6) The prices quoted are inclusive of V.A.T. Minimum chargeable numbers must be confirmed at least 3days in advance of the event.
7) Service charge of 12½% will be added to your bill.
8) The cost of the Chateau’s Resident Disco is £375.00 subject to availability (payable direct to him on the day of the function). Own Disco’s can only be allowed by special arrangement at a fee of £125.00.
9) Because functions are usually booked in advance, we reserve the right to increase prices. If we have cause to do so we will, however, Endeavour to keep any increases to a minimum.
10) We reserve the right to charge for the original number of guests booked.
11) Please note that customers with special needs should contact the Manager so these can be discussed prior to their arrival. The Chateau has disabled access to the Ground Floor and disabled facilities are located on the Ground Floor.
12) Our main Ground Floor oak paneled room is licensed for Civil Ceremonies for up to 90 people. The charge for the use of this room for a Civil Ceremony is £565.00.
13) Function Room Hire is from £55 depending on the size of the room required.
